Tasha & Tracie

Tasha & Tracie are a Brazilian hip hop duo composed of twin sisters Tasha and Tracie Okereke.

Born in Jardim Peri, a neighborhood in the north of São Paulo, they are the daughters of a Brazilian mother and a Nigerian father. The twins drew attention on the internet and in the fashion world for creating stylish looks with thrift store pieces and customization.

It all started with a blog, Expensive $hit, which ended up becoming a movement that uses fashion, art and music to strengthen the self-esteem of black women from the periphery. Read more on Last.fm
